The historical sites of different civilizations and the mix of traditional gastronomy, artisanal arts and the many festivities are unique to this part of the world.

Costa Blanca has more than 220 kilometres of coastline, of which many beaches are awarded the Blue flag.Vast flat agricultural areas and the amazing famous salt lakes also adorn these regions.

Travelling south, Costa Blanca turns into Costa Cálida in the region of Murcia.

Murcia has a coastline of about 250 kilometres with coves and beaches. Here you find the world heritage site, Mar Menor, Europe’s biggest saltwater lagoon

Climate and Activites

Costa Blanca has a unique microclimate and is declared one of the healthiest areas in the world by the WHO (World Health Organisation)

The climate is mild throughout the year with an average daytime temperature of 16°C in December and January with peaks well above 20°C.

In July and August around 30°C plus. Costa Blanca has an average of 320 days of sunshine a year and rain is rare in the summer months.

Driving

Driving in Spain is on the right hand side, and drivers must be over 18 and in possession of a valid driver’s license.

Without a valid driving license, the car insurance will be void, and in case of an accident, you will not be covered.

Healthcare

Spain has both public and private healthcare systems. The public system provides free basic healthcare to those who contribute to the Spanish social security system and their families.

If you are not a pensioner, employed person or officially a resident in Spain you will not qualify for free medical treatment under the Spanish public system.

Time Zone

Spain uses Central European Time which is 1 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1).There is only one time zone in the country.

In Spain, the official currency is Euro (€).

Spanish and English.

Visa / Passport

There are different types of visas for Spain depending on your nationality and reason for visiting. Importantly, Spain is a part of the Schengen Area which means they share a visa policy and a common, external border with the other participating countries.

Travelers can move freely between the Schengen countries without going through passport controls. A Schengen Visa gives visitors access to all 26 Schengen countries. Workers and Students need different types of visas.

Citizens who are not from visa-exempt countries need to obtain a Schengen Visa, which allows stays of up to 90 days from tourism and business purposes. Applications can be made at Spanish embassies and consulates.

Your Inspection tour is a wonderful 3-day personal guide to the local area tailored for your needs and your selected property interests.

Arrival & Departure

On the day of arrival, you will be picked up from Alicante or Murcia airport and transferred to your accommodation.

On the day of departure, you will be transferred to the airport.

Day 1 & 2

You will visit the office on the first day where you will meet our team of property experts with an opportunity to review your choice of properties before the start of your tour.
During these tours, we will show you actual properties and will also provide you with general information on places of interest, restaurants & beaches along the way.
Lunch is usually served at a traditional restaurant and the afternoon will be a continuation of the tour, followed by free time for you to relax.

Day 3

The final day is marked for property revisits, your final questions and information on legal, tax and title matters.
Usually after a 3-day inspection tour, people have sufficient knowledge to decide whether Costa Blanca is the place for them.

Price

The inspection trip is offered at a cost of only €250 per person or €350 per couple.

This covers airport transfers and 2 nights’ accommodation, as well as all food for the duration of your property inspection tour.
